Kasibu is a charming municipality located in the province of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. It spans an area of 318.80 square kilometers, making up approximately 6.62% of Nueva Vizcaya's total land area. With a population of 41,776 people as of the 2020 census, Kasibu is a vibrant and thriving community.
Known as the gateway to the Cagayan Valley region, Kasibu is renowned for its citrus farming industry. The upland villages of Kasibu produce a variety of oranges that are highly sought after. Visitors, both local and foreign, are drawn to the municipality to experience the freshness and quality of the citrus fruits and vegetables sold along the highway in Nueva Vizcaya.
In addition to its agricultural prowess, Kasibu boasts a picturesque landscape dotted with magnificent waterfalls. Often referred to as the "waterfalls paradise" of Nueva Vizcaya, the municipality is home to 12 identified waterfall spots. Among the notable waterfalls is Edralin Falls in Barangay Antutot, which is easily accessible and only a short 20-minute drive from the Poblacion.
